Move devices to a group and apply a policy

In a mass deployment setting, devices can be initially placed in a specific group (initial group). Administrators can relocate these devices to a different group (target group), and in doing so, these devices automatically get the policies associated with the target group they are moved to. This ensures a seamless and efficient way to manage device policies and configurations, simplifying the administrative process.

How to move devices to a group and apply a policy

To move devices to a group and apply a policy, please follow the instructions below:

1. Go to Devices.
2. Select your initial group.
3. Select the devices you want to move and click Move to groups.
4. Select the target group and click Continue.
5. Select if you want to apply the target group’s policy or if you want to apply a different policy and click Save.
6. Click Apply changes.

You have successfully moved your devices to the target group and applied the desired policy.
