Create a rollout configuration - 6/10

The rollout configuration contains all the parameters we have previously set up. Deploying it through your IT infrastructure will apply what you have defined in the previous steps.

This article applies to Corporate and Tensor license holders who want to deploy TeamViewer (version 15 or newer) on their Windows devices.

How to create a rollout configuration

To create a rollout configuration, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to Admin settings.
  2. In the Device Management section, click Rollout set-up.
  3. Click the + Create Configuration button.
  4. Enter a name and click Continue.
  5. Select the groups to which the remote device should be assigned and click Continue.
  6. Select which users or which user groups should be managers of the remote device and click Continue. (Selecting user groups is only available to Tensor license holders.)
  7. You can select a group's policy for the remote device and click Save.

You have successfully created your rollout configuration.

To get the rollout configuration ID (assignment ID), please follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to access the Admin settings.

How to delete a rollout configuration

To delete a rollout configuration, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to access the Admin settings.
  2. In the Device Management section, click Rollout set-up.
  3. Select the rollout configuration you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete and confirm by clicking Delete again.

This action will only remove the configuration template, so it can no longer be used for further assignments. Already assigned devices are not affected by this deletion.
