Enabling Transcriptions and AI Summary in Assist AR
Transcriptions allow you to automatically convert spoken words into text during your remote support sessions in the Assist AR app. This feature enhances communication by providing a written record of conversations, making it easier to review instructions and share information with team members. Additionally, transcriptions can be invaluable for documentation, ensuring no crucial details are lost. Transcriptions are further used to generate the AI Summary of the session.
This article applies to TeamViewer Assist AR Professional license holders using the TeamViewer Windows client and, on the end-user side, an Android device.
How to enable transcription
To enable transcription, please follow the instructions below:
- Establish an Assist AR remote support session.
- Within the remote control toolbar, go to Communicate.
- Click Start transcription.
- Select the desired language for the transcription and click Confirm.
To stop transcription, go to Communicate and click Stop transcription.
How to save the transcription protocol
Once the session is over, you’ll be prompted to save the transcription protocol on your device.
You can choose where you want to save the transcription protocol by clicking Browse. Once this is done, click Save.
How to access transcription protocols after the session
You can access the transcription protocol from the location you chose during the save process.
AI Summary
The AI summary feature generates a concise summary based on the session transcript. Hence, it is important to have the transcripts enabled.
Leveraging GPT technology, the transcript is processed to create a short, accurate summary of the key points discussed during the session. This makes reviewing the session at a glance easier, saving time while ensuring the main ideas are captured and understood.
To generate an AI summary, click on Summarize after a session has ended, and it will be generated for you to save.
